Who is Who
Anne Lauber-Rönsberg
Anne holds the chair of Civil Law, Intellectual Property, Media and Data Protection Law and is the director of TU Dresden’s LL.M. Programme “International Studies in IP and Data Law”. The focus of her research and teaching lies on copyright, data protection and privacy, data governance and AI regulation. She is involved in numerous research projects, e.g., funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) on data intermediaries and AI regulation. She is a member of the German Council for Scientific Information Infrastructures (RfII) as well as of the General Board of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and Copyright (GRUR).
Josefine Kroll
Josefine studied German Language and Literature and Art History at the University of Greifswald, University of Siena/Arezzo (Italy), TU Dresden and at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa (Italy). She received her Master of Arts in 2015 and her Doctoral Degree in Art History (Dr. phil.) in 2023 at TU Dresden. During her PhD she was coordinator of the German Art Historians’ Congress (2016/17), project assistant in several museum research and exhibition projects (2017-2019) and junior researcher at TU Dresden (2020-2022). Since 2023 she has been working in the doctoral office of the TU Dresden Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science.
Lisa Muschert
Lisa studied language, literature and cultural studies in Dresden and is currently enrolled in the Master’s programme “European Languages”. She has been working at the Institute for International Law, Intellectual Property and Technology Law at the Technical University of Dresden since 2022. She is primarily responsible for team assistance and coordination in the MIPDaL project.

The Associated partners are involved in MIPDaL in various ways, e. g. by participating in teaching as guest lecturers in the academic programme, or by offering internships to the students.
Associated partners include European and national intellectual property offices such as the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), the European Patent Office (EPO) or the French National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI) as well as national IP associations such as the French group of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR). Other local law firms, business associations and counsels are also involved in MIPDaL.

INPI

The French Patent and Trademark Office (INPI) is a major player in the innovation and creation ecosystem in France. It grants patents, registers trademarks and designs, and furthers economic development by its awareness-raising and training actions. In addition, INPI is responsible for the approval of geographical indications for craft and industrial products. INPI operates the one-stop shop for business formalities (new registrations, changes, striking off) and the French Business Register. It disseminates data on businesses and industrial property. In France and internationally, INPI actively participates in the development of the law in the following fields: intellectual property, innovation, business competitiveness support, and the fight against counterfeiting.INPI is a self-financed public body placed under the authority of the ministry in charge of industrial property.
As a major player in innovation and creation in France, INPI will support this high-level international study programme, integrated at Master’s level, which provides advanced training in intellectual property and data law to high-level graduate students from all over the world. To this end, INPI proposes to host internships for students from this programme, enabling them to discover the various professions related to industrial property. INPI may also make its auditorium available for major events in connection with this programme, subject to availability. Furthermore, INPI will be honored to offer a week’s immersion as a prize for the valedictorian of this high-level international study programme.
