Study organization

You will study at two universities of the consortium.

You have to select one track.

Scholarships

No. – MIPDaL covers an incredibly relevant legal field, but due to limited financial resources, we are only able to award up to 12 Erasmus Mundus scholarships each year. Experience from last year showed us that several hundred applicants compete for these few spots. As such, we’re unfortunately not able to provide a scholarship to every student.

Our evaluators value it when applicants show a sincere and passionate interest in the content of the program. What fascinates you most? What’s your personal vision? Honestly, we’re excited to hear why you’re genuinely drawn to the themes of MIPDaL – beyond just the financial support the scholarship offers.

Additionally, you can boost your chances by illustrating a strong and meaningful link between your previous academic and professional experiences and the subject matter of MIPDaL. If you get the chance, we highly encourage you to pursue relevant coursework, workshops or training in areas like IP and data law.

Your previous academic performance (grades) also plays a key role in the selection process. On top of that, foreign language skills – especially in German, Spanish, or French – can be a bonus, as these are particularly important for our partner universities.

Yes, here are two especially promising ones:

  1. SECAI (https://secai.org/students/scholarship_programs)
  2. Deutschlandstipendium (Germany Scholarship) (https://tu-dresden.de/studium/rund-ums-studium/foerderung-und-finanzierung/deutschlandstipendium)

Feel free to follow the links for detailed information. Just a small note: the funding amounts may be less than the tuition fees of our program. And don’t forget to explore similar scholarship options available in your home country, too.

Dual degree

Yes, the programm leads to a jointly awarded dual degree diploma (dual degree) from each of the two Consortium Partners where the student has studied.
